Bungling medics in Mexico are being heavily criticised, after they dropped a human heart being rushed to a transplant patient. Worst of all, the whole dramatic medical emergency was being watched all the way by the country’s media.
A massive rescue operation is underway to try to save four men who are trapped 90 meters underground in a flooded mine. Emergency teams from across the UK have converged to rescue the men, working in what’s being described as ‘”very dangerous and difficult conditions”. Three other miners managed to escape from the flooded tunnel at Gleision Colliery. Sky’s Katie Stallard reports.
